Student Parking Pass
The following is information related to obtaining a Student Parking Pass.
Parking Permits can be purchased through Infinite Campus Parent Portal using the School store link (this option is only available for Juniors and Seniors). Click HERE for instructions on how to purchase a Parking Permit on Infinite Campus. Permits can also be purchased at the main office using exact cash or check. The office will need the student’s vehicle information including; Make, Model and license plate number, this will be kept on file. A student parking sticker will be given and must be displayed in the correct location in the vehicle.
Note: Junior and Seniors have priority for Parking Permits. When all Juniors and Seniors have purchased their permits and IF parking spots are available and/or it is approved by Administration, Normal West may open parking to Sophomores with a valid driver’s license. This is not a guaranteed outcome for sophomores and IF parking is opened to Sophomores, permits will be given on a lottery basis. If a sophomore has their driver’s license and we have not opened parking for them, they may park at Champion Fields and walk to Normal West.
Here are the Normal West Guidelines that need to be agreed upon when parking in the Normal West Student Parking Lot:
- This permit is for this vehicle ONLY. Permit must be permanently affixed to the lower left corner of FRONT WINDOW.
- Student parking will be in the SOUTH LOTS only. Vehicles may not be parked in driveways, driving aisles, handicapped spaces, VISITOR spaces, or other unauthorized areas. All traffic laws and posted signs must be obeyed. Speed limit is 10 mph. Vehicles may NEVER be driven on the grass areas.
- Loitering in the parking lot before or after school, in or out of cars, is prohibited.
- Students are not to go to the parking lot during the school day without permission from an Assistant Principal.
- Students may not use private vehicles to drive to or from a BACC class.
- School authorities may inspect and search all vehicles on school property without notice or consent of the student or parent.
- If you are driving a different vehicle than the one you have purchased a parking pass for, you must come to the office and notify them of the temporary vehicle, including Make, Model and License Plate number.
Violators to our parking policy run the risk of being towed at the Owners expense.
