I am an educator who is excited about starting my 31st year in education. Over the course of my thirty plus years, I have been an English Language Arts teacher and building chair, literacy interventionist, and instructional coach. I am currently serving as a MTSS Coordinator, MTSS interventionist, and Literacy Interventionist for Normal West and Normal Community High School.
I completed my bachelors and masters degrees at Illinois State University. My husband, Jeff, and I are true Redbird fans and attend all of the home football and basketball games. Go Redbirds!!!
We are proud parents to twin daughters who also attended Illinois State University. They moved to Dallas, Texas and are currently working in their respected fields of Graphic Design and Human Resources. I am always looking for opportunities to head to Texas. When I am not visiting them, you can find me hanging out with my husband, our fur babies, exercising and reading.
There is no job better than being a teacher. I am honored to continue to help each student acheive their own personal and academic success during this 21-22 school year!
